YELLOW COLORED TEXT IS THE INTERVIEW
According to Kimberly Armadeo, president of World Money Watch, she believes that the Federal Reserve has prevented this from happening again.
Unemployment today is at 4%, which means that the U.S. is nowhwere near the unemployment rate during the Geat Depression. Businesses today are much different than when the were during the Great Depression: businesses couldn't afford to hire more employees and had to layoff people but now businesses need more employees than there is available.
The Federal Reserve has took a stand against having to deal with another Great depression. They have taken preventative measures to insure the U.S. does not have to go through that ever again. The above pictures and descriptions show the comparison between what it was like during the Great Depression and what it is now. There is a significant difference between the two.
